Statement of Faith
Our Beliefs:
- Our chief goal in life is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever
- Jesus Christ is God in the flesh, the same in substance with God, the Father & God, the Holy Spirit – equal in power and glory
- The greatest moral value in this life is the worship of God our Creator
- Jesus lived, died and bodily rose from the grave, returned to heaven and will come again
- God is sovereign over all of life
- The Bible is God’s Word, a love letter to His people. The Bible is infallible and has everything needed for faith and life
- Heaven is a free gift – it can’t be earned or deserved
- Jesus bore His people’s sins and the punishment that they deserve
- Faith in Jesus’ work on our behalf, and faith alone, gets us to heaven
